Robyn manages our theatre within the practice as well has having a busy clinical role in patient assessment and treatment. Beginning as an enrolled nurse she then went on to completed the Ophthalmic Nursing Certificate in 2002. She also began assisting with procedures and trained as an Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse at Forster Private Hospital in 2001. Robyn is currently involved with a 5 year international research study on anti-VEGF treatment for age related macular degeneration, the leading cause of blindness in the developed world. She also has a deep interest in 3rd world ophthalmology and was an invited participant in the International Development Program in Papua New Guinea (PNG HECS) as a volunteer assisting with ocular plastics.
